We received a record number of 120 submissions this year, and out of those, less than half reach the final round on facebook. The jury (Sebastian Salvo, Boris Koller, and Mark Belicario) decided on a winner in the Portrait and Composition category, but was unable to settle on a deserved winner in the Landscape category. The third place was therefore substituted by a special award presented by the host of the competition, Bork Nerdrum.

The first-prize winner, Marjan Bakhtiarikish has been awarded a $350 travel certificate for an interview at The Cave of Apelles, a $150 gift coupon from Art Blick Materials + the kitsch butterfy medallion.
The jury and host selections will receive a copy of Sivilisasjonen Magazine, Kitsch More Than Art by Odd Nerdrum, Jan-Ove Tuv et al, The Hunt of Odd Nerdrum movie poster (signed) and of course our eloquently designed diploma, crafted by
Jikke Gruwel and Bork Nerdrum.
