The KB10 jury has made its decisions.
Among 384 works from painters world wide, 28 paintings were chosen to be presented in the subtle atmosphere of Palazzo Cini in San Vio. A real "paragone " (comparison) will also take place, as selected paintings are compared with Renaissance works from the Cini Gallery collection.

The KB10 jury has made its decisions. Due to the amount of applicants, only those who were accepted have been notified.
Among 384 works from painters world wide, 28 paintings were chosen to be presented in the subtle atmosphere of Palazzo Cini in San Vio. A real "paragone " (comparison) will also take place, as selected paintings are compared with Renaissance works from the Cini Gallery collection.
Accepted or not, we hope painters and sculptors, collectors and public find their way to the golden city of Venice!
A catalogue is now in the making, to be sold in Venice and through worldwidekitsch.com. Hopefully, it will also be made available at amazon.com. We will continuously update you of news and press about The Kitsch Biennale 2010.
The general opening takes place 17th September at 7 pm.
WorldWideKitsch has further initiated cooperation with gallerist Gerald Maximilian Bliem from Gallery Pan. He will be responsible for promoting the exhibited work.
The number of applicants rose greatly from the last Kitsch Biennale (2008) in Munich, Germany. This has allowed the jury to heighten the criteria.
